Suspension of Operations for Season 2020


After serious and mature consideration, we believe that we have come to the right but painful decision to suspend our operation for season 2020.

Our first priority will always be to ensure the health and safety of our guests and our personnel and at the same time to ensure the best possible holiday experience for our travel guests.

We will continue to prepare ourselves for the 2021 season in order to be able to welcome you to our hotel with joy as we have been doing until now, hopefully in a safer worldwide environment.

We apologize for all the inconvenience caused but we are sure that you all understand that the cause of the problem is beyond our reach of influence.

In Marilena Sea View Hotel we adapt our operation considering the new Safety standards & Hygiene protocols. Actions include staff training and updates on the latest guidelines provided by health authorities.

Additional safety measures will be introduced which must be followed by both guests & employees.


Main measures & procedures:


Check out time will be at 11am and check in will be at 4pm in order to have additional time for the thorough cleaning of the rooms.


Check-in traditional procedures with safe distances. Hands-free sanitization station, disinfection of all cardkeys and POS. Luggage disinfection.


Deep cleaning and disinfection of all surfaces of guest rooms on arrival. Linen change and room cleaning upon request.


Restaurant will operate at reduced capacity to ensure adequate space for social distancing and adjusted layout. Less seats to ensure secure table distance.                    Served buffet and two-sitting policy.
Deep cleaning frequently. In addition, the hands’ disinfection will be mandatory upon entry.


Physical distancing, 2m rule applied in all public areas.


The frequency of cleaning and disinfection of our pool area will be increased and proper distancing measures will be applied.
Sanitized sunbeds. A minimum 2 meters distance between sunbeds


Gym, Sauna and Massages and beauty treatments will not be provided.                           
Mini bus transfer service to the beach will not be available.

Hotel Operations Policies: We are taking responsible actions to protect our people and guests during their stay with us. Within our resorts, we have created a new set of house rules for your safety, accompanied by sanitization protocols, safety methods and operational procedures. For all intents and purposes, we provide full information on the limited or restricted services offering of summer 2020, thus no claims or requests for discounts can be accepted due to these adjustments, which are in place for the welfare and safety of all guests and staff.

Testing: All guests are strongly advised to undergo a test 72hrs prior to arrival.  All guests are strongly advised to avoid large public gatherings before traveling and during their holiday time.
Should a guest exhibit symptom during their stay, as defined by on call doctor, they will be required to undergo a molecular test.
